Shannon and John, I just moved to win 7 and the learning curve isn't too bad. One big difference is that when you hit the start button, you are in a search edit box where you can search for anything. If you don't want to search, you can arrow any direction and also tab around to learn where things are. There is still a desktop and you can clutter it as you like. There is an item called libraries in which are directories for documents, pictures and so on. That should get you started.

Me too, if you learn of particular things that help, please share.
Thanks shannon

I'm in the process of getting a new computer running Windows-7 Professional. I'm going to be using the latest version of Windoweyes. Is there anything I need to know in particular -- type of fideo or sound card, other advice, etc, that will make things go easier?
I'm going to be running a 64-bit machine.
Thanks.
