I'm running Windows 7/64 and IE9. I just left Thunderbird open, opened
two documents in Word 2010, opened a Windows Explorer window, and my
dictionary/thesaurus.
To go to the net and look something up I don't minimize the windows. I
have IE pinned to the task bar and use the hot key to open it. I Googled
something, went to a site, and had no problem Alt-Tabbing between all
the open windows.
Is there any particular reason you minimize all windows? Nevertheless,
with all the same windows open I hit the dreadful Windows-M hot key and
was still able to Alt-tab and access any of the windows. I then did the
same using the much better Windows-D hot key to go to the desktop,
opened another instance of IE, and I was still able to Alt-Tab between
every open window and activate any of them.
So the only thing I can think of is either you're using Firefox and
that's bugging something up, or, something in Word 2007.
Then again, there's always the standard question; Do you have this
problem if you turn apps off?
Regards,
Tom

I'm using windows 7 professional 64 bit with office 2007 and
window eyes 8. I've been noticing that if I have multiple instances of
word open as well as an internet application that I am unable to
reliably tab from window to window as effectively as in the past. I
often have to find something in a word document, perform a search on
Google, and then place the result in another document. I often have to
look up several things in the initial document and thus want to have all
windows open. I was able to do this reasonably reliably in the previous
version, but when I cycle through can not find a document that has been
minimized when using window eyes 8. Does anyone else have the same
issues or is this anomalous to my machine.
