Hi,
I use Thunderbird, and sometimes the same thing happens to me.
I hear a bing sound when arrowing but WE8 does not read, and I just cut and paste to notepad to finish composing my email.
Other issues with WE8:
When using read to end, sometimes before WE8 finishes reading the first paragraph, I hear a bing sound and at this point, all of the hotkeys in read to end do not function, such as going back or skipping forward, which is arrow left and arrow right respectively. Another issue, is that read to end will not read. Sometimes tabbing away and coming back fixes the problem, but sometimes not.
Has anyone else encountered these problems?

Many thanks,
Manny

I am unable to read a message during composition. Already selected to Compose using Text rather than HTML as well as went into Device Manager and rolled back to Microsoft Basic Display Driver rather than the Intel WDM. What is the deal with Window-eyes, Windows 8, and Email programs? If it comes down to it, I can use Outlook but don't care for it.
