I tried the exact steps that I was sent by GW on three different
computers with sighted help and could not get it to work.

I reported during the beta cycle of WE 8 that I could not get Open
office to work with WE 8. Following all the instructions I received
from GW I either could not review what was typed in the new document
edit box with the arrow keys or I could not get the menu bar items to
read.
During the Christmas break a member of the GW staff sent me another list
of instructions to get it to work with the exact version of Java and
Open Office. Once again following the instructions exactly I still
could not get Open Office to work.
Has anyone been able to get Open Office to work with WE 8?
