Hi,
What about if a download manager was used? Would this make the task of
determining filename, speed, download folder and the like easier to access?
Never having used a DLM, I am just wondering if it would be made easier
moving up to IE 9 or 10 from 8.
Thanks
Neville.

Control+J will bring up a list of download options. When I download a
file for the first time in a given session, a window pops up in the
lower right-hand corner of the screen showing the file that is
downloading and the percentage downloaded. There are also some options
to View Downloads and Open Downloads Folder. On successive downloads,
the filename does not change until the second and additional files are
downloaded, but the other options still remain. I have gotten sounds in
the past, but don’t know how to get them back. I can, however, tell
which file is downloading and the percentage, and I can view recent
downloads. Hope this helps.

I am using Window-Eyes 8.0.0. Is there any way of getting I E9 to show
it is downloading a file, let alone how much it has downloaded? If not,
How do I get back to I e 8?
Tanks
