Itsoundslike you are reading a scanned document. The only way to read this type of document is with a program such as ABBYY Buy FineReader. Unfortunately, it is not free. Maybe other listers know something I don’t.

I am using ms office 2003 with a compatibility pack. It is being produced with ms works and sent on a printer which has a pdf converter. The document just says alert empty document.
