I tried it this morning with Firefox, and was faced with the same
unusability. Just before giving up on Facebook, I tried it with
Internet Explorer, only to find that the old interface had
mysteriously returned. I don't know enough to know how this is
possible, but I'd certainly welcome an explanation. So, I'd suggest
trying Explorer if you were using Firefox when you got the unpleasant surprise.
