Hello. These lockups are relatively new to me. I've had this trouble before, but never got a response from GW or anyone else. Have even had the system give me three beeps through the PC's speaker, and the speech would disappear.
This morning, even with 8.1, I've had speech go away and the system hang. AND THIS IS AT WORK! If the lockups continue, they'll be lots of holes in the "rock solid" and "stable" monta we all hear and expect. Don't get me wrong, I like WE, but it's got to keep up and become more bulletproof. Just my thoughts.--Matthew Chao >>> Morné van der Merwe<[email protected]> 2/21/2013 10:23 AM >>> It is due to the lock ups of WE that I once did a hard shut down and thus damaged my Outlook. I had to pay someone to fixed it. Even though I*ve installed the latest version, WE still locks up. Ive downloaded NVDA so that I can have a backup in case WE locks up. If it goes on like this I will not renew my sma next year. I have learned to be very patient with win eyes. The lock ups got so numerous; and I needed sighted assistance to get things going again. I'd rather work slower than go through such trouble that come with the lock ups. I am experiencing the exact same issues. Very frustrating and seriously impeding my efficiencies at work. Any advice from GW Micro on how to fix these issues would be greatly appreciated. I*ve noticed that if I switch between programs, or try to perform an action too quickly, Windoweyes locks up along with my computer. I have to do a hard shutdown and reboot. Is anyone experiencing this problem and does anyone know how I can solve it? Also, I notice that if I try arrowing down in a message in Outlook-2007 too quickly after I open the message, for some reason the text does not appear on the screen; I get a blank screen.
