Hi Sahar,

Are you really using Office XP? Or could you mean a later version of Office
running under Windows XP?

Office XP was known to have a lot of problems, and Office 2003 was largely a
bug-fix for that release.

If you can, I'd certainly look at going to some later version of MS Office
(maybe you could buy Office 2003 on EBay since MS doesn't sell it any
longer) if you want a version of Office which is just like what you are
using.

Hth,

Chip

Subject: WE and Word

Hi,

After having Word open for a while, the speech response slows down
considerably. I think this is more true if I open several documents, which
I need to do. After a while, when I arrow left and right, the response is
very sluggish, and it does not start out that way. Also Control Insert S
takes forever to read the status line. I know I asked GW Micro about this
before, and they said it had something to do with MS accessibility? I am
using
Office XP. This is very strange and frustrating. I do not experience this
with Jaws for Windows, but I would rather not purchase Jaws or run the demo
if I can avoid it. Thank you.

Warm regards,
