For a quick and easy FTP solution some time back it was possible to get
a utility called No IP FTP. I used this way back when and found it to be
rather accessible.

I don't know if it is still available, but remember Google is your
friend. This utility allowed you to set up a folder structure on an XP
computer that you could share with people by providing them with a user
ID and password. If you are using a router there might be some set up
required.

Subject: Apache server

Hello,

I am interested in creating a small Web server to host some files.
However, I have absolutely no knowledge of how to create one. Does
anybody out there know of a Windows program that might help me in the
creation of something simple? And, hopefully, it's accessible? I'm
trying to create it for my dragons roaming profile which I am currently
getting over a VPN. This is a rather slow method concerning my small
upload speed on the cable modem.

Any info is appreciated, thanks, Dave
