Hi all, I have a screwy problem. I've been trying to set up a romeo braille embosser. I've got it to a point where it will install and emboss until the computer restarts and then it won't emboss unless and until I uninstall the embosser and re-install it.
Now believe me, I have spent hours tweaking settings, playing with the order of things, messing around with security and nothing will do except uninstalling and re-installing. So, is there any way I can make a windows script or a window-eyes script that will uninstall the generic text only printer and re-install it whenever the computer starts? That seems like a blunt force trauma solution but I have blown serious money on cables now and racked up a lot of unbilled billable time and the client is getting very disheartened. Whatever will get the thing running reliably has to be tried.
