I've been told that the dropbox development team are working on an update to fix the accessibility issue. Luckily, they have people with screenreaders watching them very closely so hopefully this will be the last problem for a little while.

Hi. The 1.6.X versions work with speech. The 2.X versions do not. I've tried everything I know how to do to make the 2X menus speak but so far no dice. I believe that 1.6.18 is the latest 1.6 release where menus can be spoken. Good luck.

Doubt it if Nvda can't see the drop down menu either. Go to
www.dropbox.com/releasenotes to download earlier versions.

Hello to the list.
How is the new dropbox software release working with window eyes 8.1.
Some have said it was not usable because of some dropdown menus not
being read.
Can the new dropbox software be used at all with Window eyes 8.1?
