I am needing to upgrade my word processor capability. I have been using Word Pad with XP Pro SP3 and Window-Eyes 8.1. I need a word processor that will read and edit files ending with the .docx (d o c x) extention. What is the latest version of MS-Word that works with XP PRO and will read and edit .docx files? Other suggestions would also be welcome.
