Hi Gayle,

When Word recognizes certain types of data in your document, it marks the
data with a smart tag indicator. In this particular case, after typing the
number 1, Word assumes you are creating an outline in the document so it
indents the number automatically and displays an Auto Correct Options button
to the left of the number. When Window-Eyes sees the Auto Correct Options
button displayed, it announces, Smart Tag Undo Auto Action. Users can click
on this button to display the available auto correct options which in this
case would be: Undo Automatic Numbering, Stop Automatically Creating
Numbered Lists and Control AutoCorrect Options. Another action that will
trigger Word to display the Auto Correct Options button is when Word sees
the first letter of a sentence as lower case and automatically capitalizes
it for you. You can turn these feature on and off in the Word options
dialog under Proofing and AutoCorrect Options or you can customize the
Window-Eyes verbosity options for Word to not speak Auto Correct or Smart
Tags.

Best Regards,

Marc Solomon

Subject: MS word 2010-VICTORY-envelopes

Hi, I have Windows Vista and WE 7.2. I found a way to do envelopes by
tabbing around to find an envelope document. Everything spoke and I'm now
able to set up and print envelopes successfully. I'm wondering what "smart
tag undo auto action" means. I found this out when I would put the number #1
in the address of the envelope. Any assistance is greatly appreciated.
Thanks. Gayle
