Hi Matthew,

Try using windows-D instead. Windows-m is really defined only to minimize
all windows, it doesn't promise to also move you to the desktop. Windows-D
does indeed say it will move you to the desktop, and I find, always works
for then being able to move through your desktop icons.

Subject: Window-Eyes Announcing Problem

Hi, Folks. Am enjoying using WE 8.2. However, I have a question.

Since WE 7.x, I've notice that when WE first starts, and I hit the Windows-m
key, I get to the Desktop, but can't cursor up and down the items as in
previous versions. However, when I hit alt-tab and go into the WE window
and hit ESC, then Windows-m I get to the Desktop, and am able to cursor up
and down the Desktop items. Same happens with opening programs. I often
haft to go to the WE control panel, hit ESC and I'm in the proper window.
What's going on, and can this be fixed? thanks in advance.

Matthew Chao
