Hi Joe: Here is how you do it. First, you have to make sure that "Show Advanced options" in the help menu in the Window-eyes control panel is checked. 1. Go to the Window-eyes control panel, by pressing control-backslash. 2. Press alt-h to go to the Help menu. 3. Arrow down to "Show Advanced Options" and if it is not checked, press the enter key to sheck it.
Now you can make the Window-eyes icon show up in the system tray, (called the notification area) as follows: 1. make sure you are in the Window-eyes control panel, press control-backslash. 2. arrow down to General and press the Right Arrow. 3. Now arrow down to the Startup options. 4. Tab to "show icon in the notification area instead of the task bar" and arrow down to "yes". 5. tab to "save settings" and press the Enter key. I hope this helps Kevin Huber On 5/24/13, joe quinn <[email protected]> wrote: > pardon me if it's already been asked before, but i can't find it anywhere in > the settings... in jfw, there's an option to run from sys tray. is there > such an option in WE? i found it once, but can't find it anymore!
