If you don't mind waiting a little while, Windows 8.1 or windows blue, is
supposed to restore the option to bring back the start button and boot to
the desktop. It won't cost a windows 8 user anything to upgrade.

After working with windows 8 for a while, it doesn't seem too bad. The
most
difficult thing is that ie10 and W E are not allowing the use of the mouse

on web pages. That makes it hard to mouse click something that insists on

that.

Hi Bob,
It is my understanding that Windows blue will be bringing back the start
button, but not the start menu. The start button will bring up the
start screen as the windows key currently does.
In Windows 8 there is no longer a start button at the lower left of the
screen that has been a staple of Windows sense 95.

Guess we will all find out start menu, start button when the preview is
launched at the end of this month.

Hi:
Just out of curiosity, I think it is more than a little ironic that
they chose to call it Windows Blue, since the colour blue has been
long associated with the dreaded
blue screen of death. Does anyone else see the irony?

This has been a problem for at least 6 months. It's interesting you can
nowlog in with IE 9 because I couldn't log in with any version of IE or
Firefox. The only way I could get in is through the book manager. After my

initial conversation with them, I haven't heard anything since.

I'm wondering if it's a window eyes issue? I have no problem logging in

Hi Vic:

If I understand you right, are you doing the cut and paste one cell at a
time?
If this is the case, there is a much simpler way to do it.

You don't even have to create the table in word.
All you do is highlight the entire excel spreadsheet, then copy it and
paste it into word. The table will automatically be created with the
rows and columns displayed as they should be.

I tried it one time and it worked for me.

Subject: Itunes and WE
From: "Keith" <[email protected]>

Hi, I've sent this message to the blind technology list and the Apple aps
list and have not received any help so I am coming here as a last resort.

I am planning on purchasing an I pod touch 5th gen and I know that I need
to
use Itunes to load songs and aps onto an I device. I have my mother in
law's ipod shuffle to get used to the way itunes works. Problem is, I
cannot get mushic to get placed into the ipod shuffle. After I think I
get
the music transfered to the ipod, I unplug it from my computer, and plug
the headphones into it and turn it on and it tells me to use I thunes to
sync music to the ipod.

Are their any walkthru's or guides on how to work with i tunes.

Running windows xp sp 3 with window eyes 7.5.4.2
with the latest I tunes

Thanks

Keith
