Net Bat,

Thanks for the info.
The sound files are in the W E directory. The window-eyes sound events are
listed under sounds, but the Window-Eyes sounds are not in the sounds list.
For all four Window-Eyes sounds, the sound associated with that event is
"none". I do get a default sound when brows mode turns on or off but I
can't tell if brows mode is on or off in windows 8.

you will have to search for them.
they are in the program files x86/gwmicro/wineyes folder.
you have to go to the control panel to sounds then to the last few entries
in the list of sounds.
its browse mode on and browse mode off.
you will have to browse for the files.
bm_out.wav and bm_in.wav

Subject: sounds for Brows mode in Windows 8

    Hi,

I've noticed that on my Windows 8 laptop, that the brows mode on and off
sounds are not present with Window-Eyes 8.2. Instead of the ticking sound
that occurs in either XP or Windows 7, what I hear is the Windows default
sound for both brows mode on and off.

Is there a way I can activate these sounds?
