Yes, the QRead window was maximized when I tested it yesterday but I only had one document open. Interesting enough, today I am getting different results. When I open QRead, after having a document open previously in the program, the program window opens in a restored state and shows a correctly sized rich edit box containing the text of the document. The maximize entry in the system menu is unavailable but since the rich edit box control is sized correctly in the restored window, Window-Eyes is still able to read the text with no problem. So, the good news is, Window-Eyes is now reading text in QRead without having to take any additional action after launching the program. Another side note is that I am running the program in demo mode. Hopefully, this means that other Window-Eyes users will be in good shape with QRead just as you have experienced. Rob and I apparently ran into an intermittent issue that seems to have worked itself out by restarting the application a few times. You can hit h for heading and l for links and hear the item focused on, but if you try and arrow or read to end, or mousing, nothing is spoken. This is windows xp. Something I can fix?
