Robert,
Among other things, you need to allow the Windows Scripting Host to run
in order to utilize embedded Window-Eyes scripts.

Scripts not running
Dear all,
I am using WE8.2 with Windows 7. None of my WE scripts seem to be
running. In addition, when I try to start a script, it immediately
says "Stopped". I know that I turned off someWindows services in order
to save memory. Can anyone tell me what services are necessary for WE
scripts to run?
Regards,
Robert
