Jed,
It sounds like your Windows key is stuck. Press it twice (once will take
you to the Start menu, and the second press will return you to Outlook).
You can toggle the speaking of attribute changes in Office programs with
Windows-A. So, press this command until you hear "attribute changes
off," and your speech should be back to normal.
