Ooops, forget what I said about the field names being in the different voice; that's other info supplied by the app, but not field names.

Hi Eric, Please download and try the app for word which I wrote named Word Advanced Features. One of the things it does is to provide field labels when you're filling out a form, and WE isn't going to speak anything. I tried it with this form and it spoke proper labels for the first 10 fields or so (that's all I tried). It speaks the labels in a different sounding voice so that you can tell them from anything the document might have, but if you don't like that, you can disable the different voice in the options for the app. If my app fails to speak a label for you, your next easiest thing to try is to sync your mouse cursor with the WE cursor (always be sure the Word window is maximized), then look to the left and above from the field to see what's on the screen. Hi all, I'm trying to fill out this form in word 2010 and it's not going so well. I've tried it with two other screen readers and window-eyes works best, but that's not really saying much. If some ms word junkie could provide me a second opinion I'd be grateful. https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/1291668/Business_Income_and_Expenses_Off icial.doc Symptom: The table is non-uniform and most of the cells are blocked to the point where table navigation keystrokes don't really work. Simptim: Window-eyes reads the titles of the edit boxes most, but not all of the time, and doesn't seem to read the titles of the check boxes at all. Symptom: In some fields, window-eyes will allow you to type a string, but when you navigate away from the field, only the number values will be kept. For example, Try typing "home hardware: 0.65" into the box labeled supplies and equipment. When you leave that field and navigate back, the 0.65 will be there, but the home hardware: will not.
