I bought mine from PC Connection. Mine's running on a XP machine. I keep a file of addresses in Notepad I might want to make a label for, and I just select the address I want, copy it to the clipboard, shift-tab to a freshly opened Microsoft Word file, paste the address from the clipboard, then tap the Alt key and right-arrow over to the Add-in's tab. Tab over to Print Label, and hit enter. It takes a few seconds, then when speech resumes, tab to print, and hit enter. That's it, It prints out the label, and you carefully tear it off. Note that as the label sticks out from the front of the printer, assuming the front of the printer is facing you, the top edge of the label is toward your right hand. It's pretty neat. Note that it's a good idea when tearing, to lift the printer cover and press the fingers of your left hand firmly down against the strip of labels where they pass through the printer's forward wall to exit the front of the printer so as to prevent label creep. This will help prevent unwanted creeping of the strip and so avoid wasted labels and printer jamming.
There is a CD that comes with the printer that contains various drivers. Don't ask me how to get the darned thing installed. It's a long time ago, and this old fart can't remember how he managed it, but he did! My older brother and I live together. I can't see, and his hands shake too much to do much writing. Needless to say, both he and I appreciate this little printer.
