Hello list,

I am using:
Windows 7 pro with all upgrades.
Window-Eyes 8.3
DEC Talk Express
Braillex EL40.

When looking through a folder listing in, for example, My Documents, there is a
problem with the braille display as follows.

I can arrow up or down the list of items in the folder.
Each one is read and briefly shown on the display.
There is then a brief display in braille of the details of the item, as
expected with quick message mode.
This then disappears in the defined time out delay.

Instead of re-displaying the data that was previously on the line, a blanck
braille line is displayed.

If I disable the quick message mode, then the expecgted braille display remains
until I move off it again.

It only appears to happen when looking through folder listings.

Are there any clues why this lack of braille display is happening.

N.B. it also happens with my home PC and a different braille device.

Regards, John
