Stay away from I.E. 7 as it doesn't support modern web browsing. I've found that on one site I do tend to visit at work.
Also be careful as I.E. 8 doesn't work on all sites either. ARIA is the reason for that in large part. The OS makes a difference too. On some of these sites you cannot use I.E. if you are running XP so all the more reason to upgrade.
