My issue is that We was always reading slide one. Reinstalling the factory set
files sort of fixed the problem. I need to press the spacebar or enter key
three or four times on some slides to get them to advance.

This might not be a Window-Eyes issue.

Thanks.

Vic

I just opened a powerpoint I'd been working on yesterday. When I went to
slide show, I clicked spacebar and WE did not voice the new slides, but I
could see them advancing. I then clicked Control Shift A to turn on
browse mode and as soon as I heard the little pop that Browse mode was on,
it started reading the slide. Does this work for you?

Also, it is normal power point behavior to always start on slide #1 when
you go into slide show view, regardless of which slide you are on in the
standard view. But here's a trick. Once in slide show, you can type the
number of the slide you want to go to and hit enter. This will take you
to the slide immediately. Again, you may have to turn on browse mode to
read the slide.

Greetings

I can toggle in and out of browse mode. The issue is that I am always on
slide one. If I switch off the slide show, it appears like I do get to
the other slides. When I go down to one, toggle the slide show, again I am
in browse mode, but at slide one.

Vic,
I find that I often have to toggle on Browse mode in order to read the
slide show. Try Control Shift A.

Greetings

I am experiencing some challenges with power Point both version 2003 and
2010. When pressing F5 to call up the slide show the first slide comes up
OK. Pressing spacebar or enter doesn't advance to the next slide.

Even if I get out of slide show and arrow down to another slide, lets
select number five, and press F5 I can only hear the contents slide one.
