Hello All I have determined that I actually downloaded the speech recognition files instead of the Text to speech voice files from the Microsoft webpage.
Used the GW-MiCRO voices page and got the voice files OK and all works now. Thanks All! Phil If you reply to this message it will be delivered to the original sender only.
