If anyone has found or done a tutorial on the above, particularly
configuring with WinEyes, please write privately.

More to the point, in a .doc file, if a table such as that for hotkeys in
the Perkins Mini manual seems to be reading nonsensically, do I have any
options?

With Word, even in compatibility mode, table reading seems automatically
to turn on and off.  Many thanks from a new Perkins Mini user.
