Hi list. My name is Dewald.
I found out about the MSOffice GW Micro thing a few days ago.
I have been playing around with the program.
Just have a few questions:
Is there a way to change the pitch of a capatal letter? And a way to
stop the speach talking with pauses in between each word when this
feature is enabled?
Sounds like you are using Microsoft speech platform. It looks like
there is an issue with Microsoft speech Platform that pauses the
speech between words when screen pitch is enabled.
Might I suggest the cap beeper app.
This will beep when a capital letter is encountered.
Press Windows-G and when the list populates press control-f to find and
type in cap. Cap Beeper will be one of the choices. Tab to install and
press enter. Follow the prompts.
I am running Thunderbird, and every time the window has focuss, i hear
this thunder sound, an three tweets from a bird. Is there a way to
disable this feature?
It's cute, but it's driving me crazy now.
Does anyone suggest i move over to Outlook?
To disable the sound Press control-backslash to bring up Window-eyes
control panel.
Press alt-a for the apps menu.
Press T for Thunderbird enhanced.
Press up arrow one time and you should find an option called "play tone
when keys are ready. Press enter and the Thunder birds will not play.
Is there a specific internet browser that works really well with WE,
or doesn't it matter?
Internet Explorer and Firefox. Chrome will not work.
Anyone have any success using the mouse navigation? and even the
physical mouse?
I am amazed about the many apps one gets!
This screen reader works like a dream!
Thank you,
Dewald.
