Hi,
i remmeber one time i switch to sapi 5 and choose what voices (broken
one) and then window eyes crashed. and when i restart my machine, window
eyes won't launch. i need to delete %appdata%\gw micro\window eyes
folder and start from scratch! maybe gw should fix it? if synthesizer
crash, window eyes switch automatically to espeak or back up synthesizer
chosen.

for future reference the command line switch is /sespeak
so you would type
wineyes /sespeak
