I know I'm late on this topic but I use Window-Eyes Plus firefox with this youtube desktop alternative. Buttons are labled and there's hotkeys to make it even more accessible. Also just a tip, tell your flash plugin to ask to activate instead of always running. Should speed firefox up even more. Hope this helps, the link to the client follows.
