I agree whole-heartedly! They are entirely unnecessary on a list like this,
and forcing everyone to deal with that feature after someone has complained
about it shows me that the person is only being stubborn and intentionally
trying to piss people off with nothing to gain except a moment of
inconvenience to himself. I wouldn't hesitate to ban receipts on my list if
it ever became an issue, but fortunately, no one on my list has ever been
so inconsiderate that I can remember, anyway.
