I may be wrong, but I don't think wab files are the right type to go into
Windows Live Mail. I seem to remember that you need to use a comma
deliminated format.

Mail

I do not use Windows Live mail, so cannot help you on that end. But
transferring contacts from one mail client to the other, usually is easily
done, by saving the contact list to a standard address book format, called
WAB.

In Outlook Express, hit Alt-F, to go to the File menu, and scroll down to
the item that says Export. Hit Right-Arrow, and Choose Contacts, or Address
Book. Hit Enter, and choose the WAB format. Make sure you know where you
save the file.

In your new mail client, try looking through the menus, searching for
something like Import. Once found, direct it to the saved WAB file, and the
address book, including all mailing lists, or groups, should be integrated
with your new client.

Sorry, I dont have a chance on helping you much more than this, but the WAB
format is the standardized format for contact lists, so your new client
should likely have import-features to grasp that format.

Regards,
