Let me make something extremely clear from the get go. I am *not!* talking about GW-Connect. I'm asking about the native Skype app. I can't run GW connect as I'm on Windows 8.1. Anyway, in the native Skype app, how exactly do you clear past chat history. If I hit alt+1 to get to my contacts list, I see all the contacts. That isn't an issue. the problem that I have is let's say that someone chats me. I see a way to hit my application's key and go to hide conversation, and I also in my view menu see a way to view instant messages, and how to unhide hidden conversations, but I can't for the life of me see how to clear the history! It's driving me crazy! Is there not a way to delete history? Some of the conversations I have literally have text chats going 30 to 60 days back! It's insane! What a mess! Personally, I'd like to set Skype up where it won't even keep chat history, but yeah... I don't mind getting text chats, just so that I can dump the history. Who wants a tho usand odd messages lingering around from 60, 90, whatever days ago! OK, I know there are those who do, but I certainly don't. LOL!
