Hi Neville,

No, I don't get this behaviour of repeating the first character of the first word on every line. I tried tweaking a few settings to try to duplicate it to no avail.

It's wierd. smile

Yeah Rod, I get this also but haven't found either a cause or cure.
I don't use the TBird app so it is not the app which is responsible.

Also, When composing a message and moving around with the arrow keys, TB will speak the first letterof the first word on the line, twice.
Have you come across this one?

Cheers
Neville.

Hi Bob,

This is been happening to me ever since I installed TB months ago;
occasionally, very rarely, it reads the last word. No explanation for
this, nor have I found a solution. smile

Good luck,

Rod

Hi folks. I've noticed for some time with my version of Thunderbird at
work that when typing Thunderbird Thunderbird refuses to read aloud
the last word I've typed when I go back and reread a sentence or
line. Once I've gone on to the next word it will then read the
formerly silent word. Any ideas about why this is the case and what I
can do about it. Interestingly I don't seem to have the same problem
on Thunderbird at home.

Thanks in advance.

Bob
