What you might want to try as an experimentto see if scripting will work, is get the weevent script, set it to log all events and see if the program fires anything when you do the arrow keys or whatever else you want. If there are no events, its a lot less likely to work. Also, see if the program has an api, if so a script can talk directly to that.
