Hi everyone, I just found out from the professor to whom I'll be taking a computer class with next fall, that the school is switching over to the office 2013 sweet next year. I'm hoping to upgrade this old clunker of a computer of mine sometime between now and then, because I found out that 2013 won't work with this system. But If worse comes to worse, and I'm not able to upgrade in time, If I type a document in office 2010, save it on a thumb drive, and then try to open that same document at school using office 2013, will it work? Is Office 2013 much different from Office 2010? When Professor Donahue told me that they would be switching over to Office 2013 next year, unlike when we had to switch from Office 2003 to Office 2010, somehow I don't feel as threatened by Office 2013 as I was with 2010. To this day, I still remember the huge mistake I made on the list that one day and made all of you mad at me for my comments. I'm just glad that everyone forgave me for that and decided not to have me ban from the list. Well, this time around, I come forward with questions, in a much calmer manner. I'd like to know if documents written with Office 2010 can be opened in Office 2013, and is the layout much different? Thanks.
