I recently downloaded and installed jarte for one of my clients who can't afford Office. It looks quite good to me and has a "screen reader" mode. After installing Microsoft converters, it will open and save doc files and docx files. It seems to work very well with Window-Eyes so far. Has anyone used jarte much and is it a stable word processing program for someone who does simple documents and letters?
