I'm running Windows 7 and Win-Eyes 8.4. Normally, if I press the Windows key, I get a menu of some basic programs I can up- or down-arrow through, with the focus first on the top-most menu selection, a search box. I used to be able to tab once or twice from the search box and land on the shutdown button. No more. Now, if I press that key, I hear the search box, but I can't tab away from it. The up- and down-arrow keys either say the All Programs button or the search box; the left- and right-arrow keys only say shutdown, but hitting Enter does nothing. To shutdown, I must press alt-F4 enough times to bring up the What-do-you-want-to-do selection box. A complete shutdown doesn't cure the problem. I sure hope someone has an idea of what's wrong, because writing this email is another major headache. The above problem isn't the only thing wrong! I just love computers!
