Hello,

In addition to what Chris wrote, the issue at hand is that the operating system 
sometimes thinks you are holding down modifier keys, includingeathe Windows 
key. Thus, when you press G, Windows thinks you actually typed Windows-G, which 
is the default command to launch AppGet. To fix this, press the Windows key 
twice on its own, or redefine the hot key as Chris instructs below.
