Hi Carol,

As for not being able to hear audio files in
Firefox, have you checked whether perhaps the
Firefox volume is either muted or the slider is
minimized in the Mixer? You get to the mixer by
finding the volume icon in the system tray,
right-clicking it, and then choosing Open volume
mixer.

Hth,

Rod

Subject: IE crashing

I am running version 9 of IE. All of a sudden,
the last two days, IE
will not start. Well, it loads, but crashes
almost immediately. I have
tried the F12 key, but it still crashes. I don't
think it even has time
to load completely. I use Smartpage.com instead
of Google and it has
worked for quite a while. Now, the message is
that there was a problem
loading the web page. Sometimes, I can tab to the
address bar, but
can't do anything. I am running a Win7 system,
64-bit, Home Premium.
Thank you for any suggestions. Yes, I have
rebooted my system and yes,
I do have a server as I am able to use Firefox. I
don't like FF for
some pages because it will not allow me to open
audio files. They say
they are playing, but there is no audio. IE will
play the same files.

Carol
