Hi Morne,
If you start playback of the file whose length you want to determine, and then pause it, and then press Control-J, the dialog which pops up will have its length; this is the dialog used to jump to a certain time in a track. Remember to review the entire dialog box, since the edit box included in this dialog only contains the current track position, whereas the track length is further down the dialog. If you wish, you could use the Virtual View app, invoked with Control-Alt-V, to review and capture the text of that dialog. On the template which I have to use, I must write the exact time of the transcription. I'm going to use Winamp, but I can only get the percentage of a recording. How can I obtain the lengh of a recording by minutes? Regards Morne No virus found in this message.
