The app is called
    Extended Dictionary
and like already suggested you should be able to find it in the list of apps, under AppGet. It is located under the category of Utilities.

As you stated, the Extended Dictionary replaces the built-in exception dictionary of the screen reader. Hopefully you will find it working more smoothly on your new system.

In the manual of the app, you will find more information on how to contact the author. Still, here is the direct address:
    [email protected]

Hope this is the info you are looking for.

Regards,

David

Hello Don,
Press WINDOWS-G for AppGet.
When the apps load, press CONTROL-F for find and type in dictionary and press
enter.
It should come up in the list and you can install it from there.

Subject: exception dictionary author contact info needed

Someone on this list has written a quite comprehensive program which
complements or perhaps replaces the exception dictionary found in
Window-eyes. I can't remember either the name of the program or of its
author because I stopped using it a while back because it slowed down my
XP system.

Now I am in a situation with a different machine which is considerably
faster, and I need this program because of some changes to Yahoo groups
messages which cause Window-eyes to verbalize far too much header info.
And I plan to suppress most of this verbiage. So if possible, please
provide the contact info if you know it.

Thanks.
