Hi John,

Are you asking about Window-Eyes supporting HTML 5 and CSS 3 from a developers
perspective or from the perspective of someone consuming content that was coded
using these technologies? All you need to code in HTML 5 and CSS 3 is a text
editor, and Window-Eyes has full support for many different text editors. If
you are using a more complex development environment for your HTML and CSS
coding, please specify the tool you are using.

Most people would use a web browser to access content written in HTML 5 and CSS
3. Keep in mind that support for web content not only depends on your screen
reader but also the web browser you are using to access the content.. As of
today, Window-Eyes supports Internet Explorer and Firefox. So, if you are
trying to access HTML 5 content styled with CSS 3 in one of these browsers,
make sure you are using an updated version that supports these standards.

Since HTML 5 and CSS 3 are quite extensive in scope, I can't state that
Window-Eyes fully supports or offers specific functions related to all of the
different elements and properties available. If there are specific elements in
HTML 5 or CSS 3 that you are curious about in terms of how well they are
supported by Window-Eyes, the best thing to do is to create the content and
then test it out in Internet Explorer and Firefox. If there is functionality
you feel that is missing or could be improved regarding Window-Eyes, HTML 5 and
CSS 3, please send us your feedback.

Regards,

Marc

Hi all.

I'm fairly new to Window Eyes and have a few questions for you.

I am currently doing an html 5 css 3 course with the Cisco Academy for the

visually impaired an online academy based in australia.

Does Window eyes support html 5 css3 content and does it support it well?

I thought I had other questions but my mind seems to have gone blank at this

point so i'll start with that first one.

Thanks.
