Just out of interest, Becky mail seems to work
well by all accounts. is there a reason for using something like WLM?
I understand that Outlook is commonly used in
organisations as a standard mail client, so the
blind employee may have little choice but to put
up with the associated accessibility/usability issues.
I'm just curious to learn what substantive reason
would draw one to WLM in preference to, say, Becky
Mail or another similar usable mail client.
Your thoughts.
Sincerely, Matthew

Grant: I don't use WLM, so in all decency I probably shouldn't comment.
However: I ask the question which is probably
rhetorical - is this the problem of legacy
applications having a shorter active life, and a
longer legacy presence? It also makes me
wonder if those things which work in the
background, like virus checkers, are trying to
deal with new problems for which the old applicationxs do not have solutions.
And of course - please - when will we get Window-
Eyes nine?
Back to you Grant: maybe you could try
Thunderbird, but I to qualify all of my comments
with the point that I started with - I don't use
WLm. I never used it when I ran Windows Seven,
and I do recall something form Microsoft many
moons ago where support from WLM was to be dropped.
Best.
Vaughan.

I am surprised I am allowed to write and
hopefully send this email. I am ready to try
the OE6 hack, perhaps even spend the money to
OE 2010 or 2013. I am running Win7 on a 32 bit machine.
Totally frustrated and hoping to be able to read any responses.
