Mostly the differences when going to Windows 7 are minimal. In my opinion,
you would be much better served to just learn the few differences, instead
of running some software to make it look like XP. Chances are that software
won't keep up with changes over time.

Subject: Upgrading to Windows 7 at my workplace

Hi, folks.

In the next few weeks, my workplace will be setting up a Windows 7 machine
for me. Currently, I have a Windows XP machine.

I seem to recall seeing some posts regarding "Classic Shell" that can make
the transition from using XP to 7 easier. I didn't pay attention to those
posts because it wasn't relevant at the time.

Now I am looking for any tips on what will make transitioning to Windows 7
easier, or warnings about things to avoid.

Feel free to reply off-list to [email protected]

Thanks.

Martha
