Hi Daniel,

Are you perhaps using a wireless or Bluetooth keyboard for either or both
machines? Also, I have found that unless you have a pretty quick processor
with a good amount of memory, you could see sluggishness. Also, I find my
PC is basically unresponsive for a full five minutes after reboot. Mind
you, a lot of software loads, including various device drivers and such.

Take care,

Rod

Subject: window eyes is stalling

Hi,

I posted a question already but thought I might elaborate further.

I have been running WE 8.4 on my XP desktop. Recently (last month or two)
it seems WE has been stalling - not responding to keystrokes immediately,
but trying to catch up. If it is not doing this, I will switch between
tasks and it will stop altogether.

Figuring it probably has something to do with XP I have a refurbished
computer with Windows 7 which was given to me on which I installed my WE. I
have yet to install OFFICE because I am having the same problems on the new
one. When I attempt to interact with the dialog boxes in different areas,
WE will slow down and not respond to my keystrokes for seconds or longer.

There was a message once on my XP about "Braille display trying to" or
something like that but I do not have the Braille options enabled. This
message only appeared once and that was weeks ago.

Any ideas or suggestions?

Thanks,

Daniel
