Hello all,

My question revolves around Outlook 2010 and its handling or lack thereof of
XL attachments. The system involved is an HP desktop running Windows 7
64-bit, office 2010, I.E. 10 and WE 8.4 on a Microsoft exchange server.

I can retrieve Word and PDF documents but NOT XL documents. I use the WE
shortcut of alt-F7 twice in succession to bring up the attachments and then
right arrow to put the attachment in view. I then press the context key and
arrow down. All I get with an XL attachment is "copy". I don't get the
normal options of preview, open, save target as, etc.

Trying to use the mouse keys with an XL attachment yields the same result as
above when right clicking. Most of the time the curser will not route to
the XL control.

What is going on and how do I fix it? I really need the file inquestion.
Help is appreciated sooner rather than later.
