Hi Mike,

I'm wondering if your mouse pointer is sitting on the Show Desktop icon. I
suggest moving the physical mouse out of the way, or go to the desktop and
use the Window-Eyes mouse keys to route the pointer to one of the top
corners of the desktop window, again, out of the way.

Hth,

Rod

Subject: Weird problem with W. E. and Windows 7

This is strange and random, but becoming more frequent. When The
computer has been on for a while, occasionally W. E. speaks "show
desktop" after every command. There is a tab that reads "show desktop"
and you can click on it to get the desktop icons, but this is a separate
issue. It just keeps saying "show desktop" after each key strok to
enter programs or tab around. The only thing i can do, is reboot, to
get rid of it.
Anyone having this problem?
