Hi,

Is it Windows 8 or 8.1?

If it is windows 8, it includes two versions of internet explorer, a modern app
and a desktop app.

You may be running the modern app.

Press Windows-1 to load the desktop app.

To configure Windows 8 to always launch the desktop app:

1. Press Windows-I from the desktop.

2. Press enter on control panel.

3. In the search box type “internet options” and press tab.

4. You should be on an “internet options” link. Press enter.

5. Press shift-tab one time to move to the tab control. You should be on
“general.”

6. Right arrow to programs and press tab.

7. Choose how you open links, select “always in Internet Explorer on the
desktop.”

8. Tab to “open Internet explorer tiles on the desktop, if it is not
checked, check it.

9. Tab to ok and press enter.

This should do it.

Chris
